What this section is
The Regulations section publishes two kinds of content for insurance attorneys, underwriters, and claims adjusters: State Guides — reference pages on a specific regulatory topic in a specific jurisdiction — and Analysis — commentary on regulatory developments, market practice, and coverage issues.
Where our information comes from
State Guides are built from primary sources: state statutes, administrative codes, and insurance-department orders and bulletins as published by the issuing authority. Every State Guide names the specific provisions it was verified against, directly under its title. Analysis articles cite their sources in the body or in a dedicated sources section.
Verification and dating
Each State Guide displays a Last verified date — the date its statutory claims were last checked against the official published text of the cited provisions. Analysis articles display their publication date instead. When a cited law changes, we update the affected guide and re-stamp its verification date; a guide whose date has not advanced reflects the law as of that date.
How we use AI
InsuroAI builds AI software for insurance professionals, and we use AI systems in researching and drafting this section. AI output is not published unreviewed: statutory citations and the substantive legal claims built on them are checked against the official source before a guide receives its verification date.
Corrections
If you believe anything in this section is inaccurate or out of date, email [email protected]. We review every report, correct confirmed errors, and update the affected page's verification date.
What this is not
This section is informational reference material, not legal advice, and reading it does not create an attorney-client relationship. Statutes and regulations change; verify against current official sources and consult counsel before relying on anything published here.
